The project has generated intellectual property results with potential for protection. In line with the dissemination and exploitation strategy of the consortium, patentable results are assessed before public disclosure. Where appropriate, patent applications are filed to protect the innovations developed within the project. This may temporarily limit the immediate open dissemination of certain technical details in order to safeguard intellectual property rights. Once protection is secured, the consortium promotes the dissemination and exploitation of the results in accordance with the project obligations and the guidelines of the European Commission. The project contributed to the KPI “Open Access Software/CAD designs/Data sets, and Patents” through the development of patentable results and the submission of patent applications where appropriate.
